No power to my thermostat

I have a 89 monarch dynasty and I have no power to the duo therm thermostat, everything was working just fine and now nothing, I have checked the breaker box and checked everything I can see, does anyone know if there are other fuses or something to help guide me to get this figured out and where there located?

There may be a breaker or reset button on the furnace box. What is the charge level of the batteries?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

It may help if you can tell use which thermostat you have or maybe post a pic of it.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

The heat runs on 12 volts. Make sure the battery disconnect is on and check for fuses, not breakers for the heater.

At some point in time du therm had a small glass fuse in the a/c panel box inside The a/c cover on the roof. My 2002 has this fuse my old motor home had a 1984 du therm and it didn’t have a fuse in the unit.

Does anything 12 volt inside work?
Lights? Fridge?

The thermostat requires 12 volts to it, not 120.

So, there is no power going into the thermostat? I am confused because if the thermostat is not getting power, why would they install a new thermostat? If there is power going into the thermostat, where are they checking to see if there is power coming out, at the thermostat itself?

If memory serves me, There is no power going to that switch, It only opens and closes the contacts from the heater, I would be looking for blown heater fuse, on the heater and in fuse panel. Maybe an in line on the heater itself.

If we are talking about a stand alone heater did you consider jumping the 2 wires in the heater that run to the thermostat? I believe they are blue in color you could have a bad or broken wire connection between the heater and thermostat happened to me a busy mouse?
