No screw on hose connector

I know I was watching TV show on RVing once where a hose connection was made by attaching an adapter on the hose which then slide over the threads on the faucet. It was part of "stop the leak" segment of the show. I have search on line but have not found it. It was not a quick connect type of system that would have required screwing a part in the faucet. Does anyone know of this attachment and where I can get one?

Water thief is one brand I know of. Camping World sells one like it.

Are you talking about quick connectors where one part goes on the faucet and the other goes on the hose? I think you can buy them at Walmart. Not sure what your city water connection looks like but you can add a 90 degree thing to the faucet and then add the quick connect to that.

Thanks for the replies. That is what I was looking for. Not sure why it didn't turn up on the searches I tried.

Just means you can't stop the flow like using it to connect to your MH like a normal hose connection, you can use it to fill your tank through the gravity fill. I tried it and it blew the water thief off the faucet. We have one at the stick house to get water from the sink faucet to the hot tub.
