Non-slinky sewer hose

Is there a sewer hose that is more like a fat garden hose rather than a slinky

I've been using these since we bought our first RV in 2000! Only had one or two tiny holes which I filled with silicone! The inside is completely smooth.

They're a little problem to store. I have two 10' sections. I roll each up and secure with bungees, then put them in a large garbage bag in the storage bay.

Does the hose fit around the outside of this and is that how you did it?

All standard sewer hose fittings that slide inside the hose will work with it. I wouldn't use that particular kit since the female end only has two catches!

That hose comes with no connection for the motorhome's quick connect fitting so what did you use to attach it?

I've been searching this morning for a good fitting with four hooks and the only one I can find is the Camco 39413 shown below. All the others only have two hooks and would not give you as secure a connection as this one. WalMart shows this in the trailer parts area, although it might also be in the RV supplies section. If you buy two 10' hose sections you will need two of these fittings.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/14504311?...&wl13=&veh=sem

I couldn't find the male fitting with the four pins. You can buy this kit and just use the male fitting. You would only need one of these.

You'll need one sewer elbow like this.

The Smooth Bor hose requires these fittings with smooth ends that go into the hose and are secured by hose clamps. The fittings with threaded ends would not work properly.

You're welcome Ron! The SmoothBor hose is a little bit of a pain to handle, but to me it's worth the effort. Mine is now 17 years old and still doing the job! I can use just one 10' section if the sewer is close, or add the extension when needed.

I'm pretty sure the Waste Master setup stores easy and is smooth inside.
AND it's crush proof.

I can't see how it is possible for a collapsible hose to be smooth inside, unless it is stretched out to full length before use, and even then only when it is perfectly straight, which of course wouldn't be practical for RV use.

If, and I'm sure when, my Rhino springs a leak, I'll sure look into this hose. Sounds almost perfect.

Upgrade to Sanicon. Not sure I could ever go back to the stinky slinky.
