I have had the Norcold fire and the insurance company had to pay $80,000 to fix the coach. That was 5 years ago. I had to go back to the same model because no space for electric refrigs. Brand new improved refirg only lasted another 5 years before it started giving problems. The whole time I have had (22 years full time) Norcold I have never had frozen ice cream, always soft. I have found a fix, Amish unit. Nice. Ice cream that is hard. No recall devices. Order it and 5 days later it was here. New fans and heater. I sleep at night again.
