NuWave induction

We bought the NuWave induction burner from our local drug store at $49.xx yesterday, and it included a fry pan. We used to use an electric hot plate to save on propane. Wife tried it cooking breakfast this a.m. and really liked the way it cooked. I like the additional safety it offers since nothing gets hot but the cooking pan. It's 90% efficient compared to 45-50% for the hot plate, so less energy wasted. And as I've read else where, I have no affiliation with this product.
