Obtaining list of Part D Prescription Plans while traveling
In the past I've been able to Google Medicare.gov and find a list of Part D Prescription plans.
The first year this was offered the web site was easy to wade through but it got more complicated and difficult each proceeding year, and now this year it's really complicated.
I can reach My List of Drugs all right but the problem starts there. No list of Prescription plans any where.
Has anyone been able to wade through the 2020 web site to reach all the plans available? Any help greatly appreciated.

I'll try your link and see where it leads me. Thank you.
Just tried the Link. Gets me to the same place I've reached: my list of drugs but no place to click on List of Plans like I used to be able to get to. Web site designers just can't leave well enough alone.

I went to Wellcare (Aetna) last year from Humana. I am getting my prescriptions a lot cheaper than the Humana (Walmart) plan.
Wagonmaster2 - are you trying the mymedicare.gov website?

No, just Medicare.gov. I also tried the Link above but ended up the same place. I surely must be doing something wrong to only be able to reach my current drug list. I'm using my current Drug List ID and Password Date that I've used for years. Usually right after that I choose my pharmacies, then go to all the list of plans available in Oklahoma each giving the cost of my current drugs.
I too have been using Humana Wal Mart but recently got a letter showing 2020 cost, almost doubled. There are two Humana plans and one is only slightly more than 2019 but I'm unable to get my drug list to any of the plans.

You must be having a problem that is unique to you. I just completed mine at the link others have provided. I got the Humana letter too, went medicare.gov, entered my address info, entered the drugs I need and got a listing of many plans. Picked one and signed up. Took about 20 minutes.

I just now used the above link again as a test and here are the steps I did to get to the pharmacies:
When the link opens first click in the circle for 'Drug Plan D'.
Then LOGIN (Does it accept your login? Perhaps you need to choose a new Password. As I recall you have to change the password after a certain time period.)
It will take you to 'Find A Plan' screen
Click on the circle for 'Drug Plan D' again
It will automatically enter your zip code and county. Then click on 'Continue'
You will then be on the screen to Confirm or Edit your drug list.
Click either: 'Add Another Drug' or 'Done Adding Drugs'
Then select your pharmacies - you can choose 3. If you want more then go back and choose 3 other ones. It gives me 31 choices of plans.
You can then compare up to 3 plans at a time.
We found that choosing WalMart was the most expensive cost for our drugs, surprisingly, so play around with different pharmacies. Your drugs may be different.
Good Luck!!!

That sounds exactly like what I've done in past years, and what I expected to see this year. But something definitely goes haywired along the way some place. I'll write down your steps and try to follow exactly.

Got to the LogIn point and realized I have never had to log in all the other years i've used the web site. Spent 20 minutes trying this and kept getting the message "Password does not meet requirements". It requires 8-16 characters - I had 11. Requires at least 1 of the several top row characters they listed - I had 2 but one wasn't on their list so I eliminated # and added two of another one of theirs. Finally got accepted but had to start over first because I got timed out for taking so long trying to satisfy the Password requirements.
Now I have to log in using the new ID and Password. But I keep getting the message "cannot log in right now, please try again". Tried 3 times and gave up.
I cannot believe this Medicare.gov web site is so screwed up this year.

Finally gave up on the wife's search and started on my own. Everything clicked as it should, even though it's all confusing and taking more time than the previous web site.
For me it looks like the Humana Wal Mart Value Rx plan will be best for me. Decreases this year's premium from $27 to $13 and looks like even better prices on my two prescriptions from the Humana Premium $51/month plan. Lower month premium and cheaper 90 day prescription price. Trying to figure out what the catch is.

WellCare has worked very well for me also. Never had any issues even traveling.

Look at all the figures on the the page. Look at the 'Estimated TOTAL drug PLUS premium' cost per year.
Yours may be good with Humana WalMart but from everyone I've talked to it went up greatly this year.
Even choosing the WellCare plan - the cheapest - and plugging in various pharmacies, WalMart was outrageous which really surprised me. CVS and Safeway were the cheapest. Walgreens was higher.
Of course, all this depends on your meds. You may have lucked out with what you chose!!
