I'm very glad they featured the Sportsmobile on a Quigley 4X4 system...but here's one that made me do a double take:

::: Jeep® ActionCamper© - expedition ready slide-on camper - JK Wrangler Unlimited / by Thaler Design :::

It's price is stupid and could probably be made by a company near Elkhart for a fraction of the cost///but I think it's kewl

I have used Toyota 4WD pickups with oversized camper shells and an interior platform to go anywhere a CJ7 jeep can go for years. They Toyota 4WD trucks are best built off-road production vehicles you can buy in the USA and are short enough and narrow enough to go on roads where a full size pickup would not fit or be able to make the turns.

I like more now in the way of creature comforts so a 4WD 3/4 ton with a TC is my current off-road RV though it will not begin to handle the kind of terrain the Toyota trucks would the larger truck and camper has a fridge, furnace, wet bath, and oven, so it is hard to call traveling in it "camping".
