We are a family of three and a half (mid fifities husband/wife, 16 year old daughter and dog) who dry camp and ride ATV's in the Lucerne Valley area of Southern California. Looking for other families who camp and ride in Johnson Valley area.

I'll place a 'mirror image' of this thread on our TT & 5th Wheel-ToyHaulers forum. There are a lot of our younger west coast members hanging out in that forum.

Most of the folks here drycamp in the desert so that is why HH shortcutted your post here. Although I don't live out there I'm sure some of our folks here will pop in before long and give you some good advice. Welcome and hang loose.

Although you haven't added your city (or general area) where you live (good idea- let's everyone know where "you're coming from" so to speak ), well welcome neighbor!

Dang, lots of great areas to ride around the So Cal desert...you'll want to check out the 2007 So Cal Rally Thread- you'll find many a people that are in the same area!

Again, Welcome!

Sorry, new to this forum stff. We live in West Hills (San Fernando valley) and do all our camping in Lucerne Valley.

We are in the process of selling our quads and buying a side-by-side, the new Predator RZR. Expect to se us next Fall on Soggy Dry Lake. Our camping group has shrunk over the years, and we need to meet new folks. We have a secret camp ground!
