Onboard Generator.

It being cold up here in NY, to keep the batteries charged for heat, you need to run the generator.

This guy was in WAl-Mart lot Friday morning, running his portable generator.

Look close and see that its there inside the door and it was running. At least the exhaust was pointed out.Click image for larger version

I would idle the engine to get heat and charge the batteries before I would do what he/she is doing.

But he is being efficient. Gets heat off the gen while it’s inside running. Smart man.

This is what's known as cogeneration, getting heat and electricity from the same source!

More likely losing more btu’s With the door open than what is generated. Should have put the gen on the ground and plugged the RV into the generator.

Never thought about the extra heat the engine was supplying. Nice and toasty.

To noisy to watch TV, unless they have closed caption on.

Its been there 4 or 5 days, I wonder if its still there ?
