And what happens if I move into his kingdom and already have such aftermarket equipment on my vehicle that he is proposing to prohibit the "sale" of. Does this imply that if this bill is approved that another bill prohibiting the "use" of will be introduced?

Ignoring the rationale of this politicians thinking; lets look at tire rolling resistance. That website/subject, when read entirely, clearly denotes that tire design and compounds are a small factor in actual total rolling resistance. Perhaps the Governor should make it a priority to improve roads first. It makes a strong point that road surface in the largest rolling resistance factor; then tire width/hieght.
If this article is true, auto makers should never have began using larger diameters. Perhaps we should revert to 14" tires for autos.
I should enter RV's into this to stay in terms of service. Whether it be a LDT, MDT, or HDT; I think tires to carry sufficient load can be bought in narrower sizes adequate weight ratings

There has been a termendous amount of email going to Salem opposing H.B. 2186 from all over the State. A friend got a response from one of the Representatives (I didn't get any resposnes) and she stated that there wasn't very much support for this bill. But, this is Oregon and you can never tell what comes out that house of ill repute. And yes this could very well affect the RVer in either a tow rig or a Class A, B or C unit.
