Not really sure I understand portable showers for exterior of RV. You mean something like washing the sand off your body before you go inside?
In my motorhome, I modified the exterior sprayer hose faucet so I could screw on a garden hose. That way I have hot/cold/warm water to wash pets or wash sand off or what ever.

You need to explain what you're looking for. An overhead shower connected to the RV, a shower in a bay?????
I did the same as Bigd9, I removed the cheap shower fixture from mine, as I would never use it. I replaced it with two threaded valves that I could attach a hose to.

Keep in mind this would be consider 'gray water' and it's not allowable to put gray water on a campsite in many parks. The next person would be parking where you took your shower! Who wants that?

My outside shower hose and head were in my wet bay. I got tired of something entirely useless being there in the way so I disconnected the hose and put it all in another compartment.
This will be season nine I have had this RV and have never had occasion to need or use it. Good riddance.

I use my "outdoor shower" every un/hitching!
I put a quick-connect to hose adapter in it and stowed the hose/sprayer. Soap and a microfiber towel let me wash my hands with it. Especially nice after dumping!

Mine is old school brass wash tun faucet with vacuum break at garden hose fitting at end. A good quick hand washer. I've used to garden hose for warm water wash of MH, the hot out of the Aquahot to keep up.
Maybe just there for Robin Williams RV moments. Lol. Good for safety shower or eye wash and after working on MH.
