So these heavy picnic tables were thrown by the huge wind storm high enough off the ground to impact your MH windows and the toad....but no damages/crushed/mashed sidewalls/fenders/hood---doors
Now that is incredible
Good thing YOU have insurance.
You chose the 'deductible' so now you pay the deductible
Such is life.........

Since it wasn't a moving accident your comprehensive part of insurance should cover it just like a glass damage. Would think your Comp wouldn't have " thousands" deductible.

The max speed for straight line winds today in Estes Park, CO was 83 mph. The forecast was for possible 100+ mph. I imagine a few picnic tables got moved around.[emoji44]

He didn't say where he was but here's the forecast for that storm that hit the coast on 1/12/21.

I hardly think the park owner/proprietor is an expert on subrogation. I’d ask your insurance company to contact his insurance company, leave him out of it, and see what happens.

We had winds in excess of 70mph in western Washington last night.
This matched the earlier NOAA predictions forecast 24 hours before this storm hit. Coastal predictions were for 80+ mph. Yes, we lost a few trees, many limbs, roads closed for most of the day, including hwy 101, our hot tub gazebo took a hit and we lost power for 12 hours.
No way I would have been on the coast last night.
Count your blessings something worse didn't happen.

Which was it that caused the damage? The Park as your title implies or the wind as your story implies.

Check this park out cemented patio anchored tables. Picture does not do this park justice.

Luckily I was able to fix it without any cost. In high wind areas, you really have to be on your game, or you will incur damage of some sort. After breaking a thing or 2, you will pay attention.

My house got hit by the same storm. Woke me up in fact. In the morning all the 90 pound trash can had been turned over by the wind. January and February can get a bit wild in Oregon.
As to your situation, these things happen all the time but usually it's the other guy, then out of the blue our number comes up. Let your insurance handle it. Going legal probably won't pan out for you, especially when there's no personal injury involved. It could have been worse. Sometime I'll tell you about a 90 foot Doug Fir came down in the park where we we're staying. After it's all fixed, it will be one of your "war stories". Good luck with it.
