Parked Flat Tire???
Getting ready to leave Wednesday, de-winterizing and checking tire pressure! Yakes! No air pressure on the inside drivers rear, sure enough looked under, it is flat.
These are Michelin tires that are 3 years old this month.
I have RV extended warranties and roadside assistance. Do either of these cover this tire at home?
Do I drive it to a RV shop? large truck shop?
Any help with what is best to do will be greatly appreciated.

Probably picked up a nail or something. Air it up and go to truck shop.

You have to check the details of your extended warranty because some do and some don't. Same thing with roadside assistance covering you while at home. Some will... CoachNet did for me... but some don't.
I wouldn't recommend driving it with a single tire holding the weight. It can over stress the tire and then you might be buying two new tires.

I have RV extended warranties and roadside assistance. Do either of these cover this tire at home?
Call and ask them, I have no idea what coverage you have. This would be my first step to correcting the problem.
Do I drive it to a RV shop? large truck shop?
As a last resort I would drive it on a single tire. Try to air up the flat before driving. Go very slow and only a short distance. You run the risk of damaging the single good tire.

DO NOT DRIVE with a tire flat..
As others have said, Air it up, you can check most of it for leaks with water or soapy water by mopping it down, If you find a leak good,
If not, do not worry
Find a truck tire store (if you are in Michigan Belle Tire has a number of them) and then do a 2-step.
First, Air it up. then drive it to the store.. Put the compressor away when you get home.
What did I do this noon.... Well. I got a used car last fall. Yesterday I hit a hunk of concrete (At very low speed) and took out a tire.. Came home and put air in it, Never found a leak, But 2 hours later. Pancake city (Oh, the spare was on the car) Aired it up again and hosed it down, NO joy (Did not find leak) this morning pancake city.
Tossed it in the back and using the spare drove to church, Sang with the choir, then to Wal*mart where they guy is eplaining the problems of plugging to me (I started by telling him I needed a NEW tire) showed him why I felt replacement was needed, (Cracking in the gabs between the tread, In short, dry rot). he finally figured out I wanted a new tire.
So, I now have a new tire. ... And a spare that actually has AIR in it.
(And then it was back to church where the Choir put on sort of a concert type program... Alas.. We hoped for a better audience (Larger audience) but we sang well. I likexxx. love singing with those folks. )

Two years ago, when we de-winterized our MH, the right side, inside dual was flat. Attempted to get a local mobile repair truck here to look at the tire and they would not come to our place. So I removed the tire and took it to another shop and found out the extender was the source of the leak. Replace the extender and reinstalled the tire. I then took the MH to a local truck shop to have them ensure the torque was correct on the lug nuts. Some times it is just a lot easier to do some things' yourself.
No matter what course you take 'do not drive on either a flat tire or just one tire on the rear. Lots can go wrong!!!!!

Last Thanksgiving morning we went to leave out to family day/dinner a couple hours away and were staying over a few dats to taking the MH - and found a inside rear tire flat. A call to Good Sam ERS had a mobile tire guy onsite within the hour. He pulled off the flat, found a screw in the tread, dismounted from the wheel did a repair from the inside. We made it in plenty of time to enjoy the holiday activity.

Check the valve core on that tire. Did a month long stay on a trip a few years ago, started to let the jacks down after thirty days and the right front kept going. Stopped the drop, raised the unit back up, got a pancake compressor and aired it up to find out that it was leaking around a loose core. Tightened the core and checked again for leaks with soapy water. Fixed the problem, but for a good safety, checked core on all tires.

Air it up and see if the valve core is leaking. If it won't hold air for 24 hours do not drive it. A tire run more than 20% low on pressure is ruined.
Truck tire shops will work on tires at your location. In fact, they often use their service trucks even at their store.

Thank your for all the great advice.
Vince and Susan, I also have Good Sams ERS and was told tonight they do not patch or repair tires due to the liability. They will bring out a new tire and pay for the service call but my tire will cost $540 up! In the morning, GS will confirm a time for the service truck to come out.

Use your Road Assistance is what I would do and if that for some odd reason doesn't cover it, call a mobile tire shop . that's all they do and that way you don't have to chance anything.

Are you sure it needs replacing.
I had a flat while on my jacks. I aired it up and it held for several hours. I drove to a tire shop in Marana AZ of all places that is where the motor club referred me. they found a screw puncture, fixed it in about twenty minutes. Charged me twenty five bucks. I gave them another twenty five for a round of beer after they quit for the day. The tire lasted ten years.

I had a flat a few day safter my last trip. Turned out to be a loose valve core. A couple turns tightened it and the tire now holds air. Not sure why it woud come loose like it did after a long trip, but not while we were gone. Also mine was on the front, not on an inside dually. How often does THAT happen?
