Cool Part time auto insurance.

Is there such a thing as part time insurance for a toad? I have a vehicle I could use as a toad, but as it would only be used as a dinghy and not all the time might be 3 months out of the year. Why pay for car insurance for something your will hardly use.

Thanks
Dave

Some companies will let you stop/start coverages. Be aware your DMV may get notified that you don't have insurance and fuss at you. This happens in California, and you can then non-op with the DMV.

Check with your ins. company, you should be able to put storage ins on it that would keep the comprehensive coverage. wouldn't be covered to drive or tow.
