Peak to Peak Scenic Hwy

We would like to drive the motorhome and toad from Estes Park south on the Peak to Peak all the way to I-70 via rtes 7, 72, and 6. However we noticed some tunnels on the route. Our clearance is 12’6". Has anyone driven their RV along this route and had any problems making this overhead clearance? Any other concerns to think about with driving a tall, 10-ton rig on this route?

You will have plenty of room - Charter Busses - Tractor Trailers and RV's all travel this road Year Round.

While it may look a little wavey and it does have a tunnel or two (6 on RT 6 ) it is Built to Drive. We Love it, you will surely enjoy the drive.

Best of Luck,
