We went to a rally in Perry once. Just HOPE and PRAY it does not rain while you are there.

Thought it was great! Plenty of interesting seminars, access to vendors who actually came to our coach to do requested work, wonderful people (save one old bas%$@d who thought he was the reason for the rally) and just lotsa' fun!!
We are "First Timers" and were impressed by the genuine warmth and interest shown us by the FMCA volunteers. There was always something going on and the entertainment was outstanding.
In fact, as of this writing we are still here in Perry enjoying the local attractions including the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon. (BTW-no significant rain, just one evening and it was gone by the next morning--phew...)
Job well done, FMCA!!!!! Kudos to you and the volunteers!!

I'll echo every word of this! I too was a first timer and I'm pretty sure I met that same grouchy old bas%$@d after the wednesday entertainment, he really had a big mouth to go with the attitude also. LOL

Enjoyed the rally -- the vendors, the entertainment, and all of the nice people that we met while we were there. The rain just "slowed" it down for a small bit of time, but, did not really do any permanent damage. Planning on going again.

Your lucky on the weather. We have been there with heavy rain. The place turns into a pig pen. Except for that it is a nice rally site.

We were also "first timers" i didn't find the crabby old fart :-)
people were talking that they hauled in lots of gravel since the last FMCA rally in hopes not to have the same results they had a few years ago when it rained, we tried to push solar lights in the ground and had a real hard time because of the gravel.
