Phaeton - carbon fiber dash panel - clear coating peeling - solutions

2008 Tiffin Phaeton 40' DP
carbon fiber panels on dash & side switch panel
carbon fiber panels has clear vinyl coating
I've see pics of the coating peeling off on all the CF panels ... looked terrible
the panel on my side switch panel is starting to peel off in two places
Any body had to deal with this?

A Picture would help.
Is the panel "real" carbon fiber or a sticker that looks like carbon fiber applied to fiberglass / plastic / wood?

If it's real carbon fiber, it's very unlikely that there is any clear vinyl covering. The clear should be resin.

So, sounds like it's fake carbon fiber. You could remove the part, remove the coating (heat gun, adhesive solvent, plastic razor blade) and replace the vinyl with new vinyl you can buy on Amazon. Sometimes the parts are "dipped" in a water tank that has a carbon fiber decal in it. There are services you can send the parts and have them redipped. This is my bet on what you are dealing with.
