Place to park for a few hours near Westlake RV

Hi folks. We will be staying at Westlake RV resort this weekend located at 18602 Clay Rd, Houston, TX 77084. Check out time is 11, and we need a place to keep the RV for a few hours (until 2 or 3) on Sunday, as in a few days from now.

This is a very nice and popular place--totally booked up. No place for me to even park the coach. Shoulda booked and additional night but I didn't know our plans would extend.

Ours is a 40' class A. Anyone with local knowledge have suggestions for a safe place to park for a few hours?? Nobody will be on the Rv...so it needs to be a safe place.

Thanks Mel. I know people will stay in their RV's at WalMarts overnight... I'd consider that too. But I don't know about leaving an RV unattended. I'm in a bind, so I may have to try it!

How about a local Camping World supercenter? most have overnight RV parking, some even have water & electric hookups.

Did you check with the park about an "overflow/parking area" right there that you could use for a few hours after vacating your site?

I have left my MH several times at Walmarts all over the county in broad daylight for a few hours while we go visit something. Never a problem. I also have full coverage insurance.

Thanks everyone. No camping world nearby, and there was one overflow spot but I couldn't use it for timing reasons. I found a nearby outlet mall that had a dedicated parking lot for busses--totally empty.
