Places to work on RV yourself?

I moved to a new city that bans RVs so my coach is in storage. I guess I could work on it there but it's not ideal at all. Any tips on where I could find a place where I can work on remodeling the interior and stuff? Basically I'm looking for a place I can run table saws and stuff without being a disturbance to others.

I'm at a loss at what to even Google. I guess I need to just find a friend and work on it at their place??!?

Is it in a storage lot or stored at a campground? The lot where I store mine will allow some repairs, but nothing major and the area needs to be kept clean and uncluttered.

A friend place would be your best choice, as long as you don't inconvenience them.

RV storage place that's gravel. They allow me to work on it but don't want to take advantage. Also I can't pull the slides out without moving it. I'd like to slowly work on it over a few weeks, hopefully without moving.

Recreational Vehicles: Recreational vehicles and utility trailers may not be stored on a residential property unless they are fully enclosed in a structure such as a garage or shed. It is permitted to store a recreational vehicle for up to 72 hours outside an enclosed structure if the owner is a guest of the homeowner or if the homeowner is loading/unloading or preparing the vehicle for use on vacation, etc. This includes any vehicle used for camping, traveling, boating or other leisure activities including but not limited to campers, boats, motor homes, snowmobiles, wave runners and trailers used for transporting these type of vehicles.

Bring it home 72 hours at a time to "prepare" it for use.

I did that a couple times and the city drove by and took photos. Don't want to press my luck.

If you check Craigs list you might find someone's out building that they would rent to you.

There are storage units big enough to pull in w/power, all the way up to "storage condos" with second floor office/bathroom, but they're a lot more than a couple hundred a month.

We have friends who are in a neighborhood that bans RVs. They bought a piece of farm land about 2 miles from their house and put up a pole barn for their RV and other hobbies. You might look for something similar.

Just check the door height. Also many airports have very strict access rules. But a hanger would probably work out. Who knows, maybe you'll dump the RV and buy a plane.
