Playin' with some colors - feedback wanted

I've been wanting to experiment with a possible future repaint of the coach and finally had a little time to do so.
Here is a 'first draft' computerized paint job and I'd apprecuiate some feedback.

Please be honest!!!

Too dark?
Too blue?
Too ???
Suggestions?

Your rig your choice, toooooooo blue for me but it could really shine with the right amount of clear coat.

I would add at last one more shade of blue, maybe two shades as you transition to the white.

I feel your pain but definitely too much blue for my taste, as already mentioned a few more shades of blue (or other colors) to off set it a bit.

Blue's my favorite color, especially that blue, but as noted above, it needs less of that blue, either with a new design or another color added.

Here's a blue Newmar Essex.

I don't know which one is worse.!!! Go to a dealer and LOOK at the color combos that are popular. It ain't dark blue. I do not mean to be nasty, but if you are going too the expense of painting at least bring it into this century.

I love the Essex, who wouldn't , but I think you need to put a little more thought into your's. Key word is your's and that means what ever you like is all that matters. You can park next to me and I would not have a problem, but like mentioned above, if you are going through all the expense of a paint job, give it a lot of thought expecially if you might want to sell it in the future and upgrade to another model....Happy Trails..

Thanks everyone. Great responses!
All are appreciated and you make some good points.

I love the new Essex and that shade of blue is definitely easier on the eyes but the graphics are too busy.

I suppose I need to add a little more information here as to where I am going with this. I cannot afford to have it professionally painted so that means a DIY job (I can hear some of you cringing now). Keep in mind I have a 26 YO coach so a $10K paint job just makes no sense, even if I could afford it. That means if I end up tackling this job, I want to keep the graphics & striping as well as number of colors to a minimum.

The proposed scheme I've posted is, as I said, a first draft and something to serve as a starting point.

Keep the comments coming in!

Since you're talking about a DIY job then have you considered going to a local high school or Vo Tech? They might do it for cost of materials. Had my 63 Nova wagon painted that way, they even fixed my poor attempt at bondo.

After a base of white you might consider sign shop graphics then clear.

I would move the graphic forward and lighten the blue. The graphic seems to make the rear look heavy.

Good luck and you are a gutsy guy to take on that job.
