pocket door

The pocket door track between kitchen and bathroom has pulled out on the passenger side end of the track jamming the door at an angle. I wonder if anyone has had this problem and how they fixed it. My rig is a 2003 National Dolphin LX, 36 ft.

Pocket doors have a track and two sets of roller assemblies. The roller assemblies each have a slot that locks to a metal pin on the door, usually with a plastic "jack knife" sort of lock that you can push around using a screw driver.

The usual problem--which might not be yours--is one of the locks gets loose and the pin gets pushed out of its slot. Use a step stool and a flashlight to see if this is the problem. If it is, align the roller assembly with the pin, push the pin into its slot, and push the lock back into position.

As John mentioned you need to get a look inside the pocket to see what's going on .
Could be the roller has come unhooked , or like mine the screws holding the track up fell out .

Roller is an easy fix , screws out of track ... not so much .

Here's what you'll see if it's just the roller unlatched .

X3 on the above

There may be a trim piece on either side of the track system, mine has them, this is just decorative. You will probably have to remove to work on the door.
Release the first trolley lock and then see if you can pull the door out and then go from there.

The outboard end of the track is definitely pulled down. the weight of the door probably pulled out the screw. Unless someone has a better idea, my fix will be to cut a hole in the closet wall big enough to get a drill in and drill a new pilot hole and fasten the track where it belongs, maybe 2 screws then cover the hole with a piece of paneling. Thanks for the replys

I purchased a 90 degree driver and worked into the pocket with the door out .

DW nixed the idea of a hole in closet wall

Check from both sides of the track to see if the paneling is removable, a small section that is screwed or pin nailed instead of stapled.

I removed the facia panels on both sides of the track first thing. Seriously considering taking it to repair shop. I'm a DIY guy, but at 80 years old not so much.
