Portable air compressors what do you use?

Curious to know what everyone is using. ( Yes I know you DP kids have your on-board air compressors ) I have been carrying a little 12 volt inflator rated for 150 psi and it is useless at anything over 40 psi. I'm thinking of getting one of the small 3 gallon 110/120 volt compressors and using that instead.
Anyone else using a 110/120 volt compressor in their coach?

I’ll bet if you took a pole the porter cable pancakes would probably win.

I’ll go first:

Porter Cable CMB15. Powerful, up to 150 psi. Light and very compact.
Around 105 to 120 bucks depending on where you buy it.

Bostitch — 6-Gallon 150 psi 110 volt... used it a couple of times on the road. Works pretty well

Viair 450 RV is my go to unit after burning up three of the 120 volt tank units over the years.
My tires are about as big as you will find on an RV with 365/70 on the front and tag axles and 315/80 on the drive. I have used the Viair to add 20 psi with no problems but it did take a while.

PC pancakes are really good, if you have the extra room. Nice thing about the smaller CMB15 is it has the same motor/pump, but the "footprint" is much smaller.
To the OP...you will find numerous posts and threads here about compressors, and just as many opinions.
If you are looking at 110/120 volt smaller units, any of the "brand name" rated at 125-150 psi will do everything you need. Because of it's infrequent use, many choose to buy cheaper "Harbor Freight" compressors. Personally, I just like buying better quality stuff, and don't mind paying more for it.

We use a Craftsman air compressor which seems to work good for our 110 psi tires. I don't abuse it by letting it run too long or it will over heat.

That Craftsman is made by Porter Cable, just "branded" for Sears/Craftsman. Also a good compressor, but with Sears going down the pottie, would be hard to get warranty upheld.
PC CMB15 is same thing.

+1 on the Viair. A little spendy, but worth it.

At home in my drive way I use a Harbor Freight 6 gallon. Plenty of pressure to check the tires, winterize, and build things for my wife.

On the road I rarely if ever check tire pressure but if I did need to check or fill I'd just stop at a tire place and have them do it.

Me 3. It's all metal so self ventilating allowing 100% duty cycling. It goes forever. Very reliable. Helped me many times on the side of the road or even pumping up the kids floaties.

Oh ya...and it's 12volt. Have it wired to my trailer towing outlet with adapter.
