Portable fire pits

Looking for a good portable fire pit. Someone told me about Pit2Go which I don't think they make any longer. Has anyone used those on the go fire baskets. Would appreciate any advice.

Just bought Camco's Little Red Campfire ($112.00 on Amazon). Haven't used it yet, gonna check it out in the backyard this weekend. Didn't want anything too big or fueled by wood.

I have to one they sold at Costco. Great unit, larger that the lil' red campfire. It has an adjustable flame. Comes in a nice carry bag. In the spring we were able to use it in the gazeebo. I plumed it into my RV tank using a quick connect. The cost was just over $100 as I recall.
Very happy with it.

If you are looking for a fire pit that uses wood for fuel, the latest thing in Quartzsite, AZ is to use the perforated Basket Tub out of an old Washing Machine.
They even sell them at Flea Markets in Q. Also they are free or LOW $

My friend in the infield at the speedway had one of those, totally awesome, and made a great hot fire.
You'd need some sort of stand to put it on.
Not real sure about stuffing it in the basement of the RV, it was pretty tall (even without the stand) and would be a tight fit.

We have the Camp Chef Del Rio, it is propane and we absolutely love it.
65,000 BTU's.
Low enough to fit in basement storage.

I would be concerned with using a washing machine basket tube as a fire pit. Some of the tubes could have different type of coatings which could produce toxic vapors or smoke when heated. Also somn e detergents, bleaches, softeners, etc. could leave deposits on the baskets which could also be toxic when heated.

My advice don't use a washing machine tube.
