Hi! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I'm not familiar with that.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I presume it would work fine, but living in a humid part of the country our goal is to remove moisture from the air, not add to it - so I've never used one.

I’ve not used a portable unit but do have history with the big ones. Watch the weather reports for your area. If the dew point is well under 55 they will help-above that you will have moisture dripping down the walls. Good luck.

Does not work well in conjunction with HVAC AC. Evaporative coolers add moisture to the air and that air needs to flow into and out of the space being cooled. Your coach AC air needs to be contained. Plus as stated one system adds moisture and the other removes it. They end up fighting each other. Use one OR the other.

I think jerboy has hit the nub of it. A swamp cooler doesn't play well with compressor type a/c, particularly in an RV where the interior needs to stay enclosed if the a/c is to lower the temperature.

Swamp coolers also work only in very dry climates (see Duoglides rely). If you aren't in one, don't even consider it.
