Angry Power gear motors

Does any one know of a source to get 12 volt electric motors to replace power gear's over priced motors. $759.00 for a room slide motor is a crime.

Have you looked into having it rebuilt at a local electric shop.

Or give a call to this place.

I remember reading a thread about this subject, but don't remember where. The guy did find an alternate source at a much lower price. Perhaps the link Richard provided will be your solution.

over priced!!

We had a Teton 5 er with the slide motor going out. The motor operated all 3 slides. Had it repaired and fixed for $13OO.OO, insurance didn't cover this even with full coverage on the rig. This was in 2007 in a rv shop near Portland OR. I feel your pain you can't stop the dawn Colorado

By all means check the motor close, see if there's a name somewhere on it that shows who makes the motor. Power Gear is not in the motor business, they purchase them somewhere.
