I carry 1/2" 18v drill/driver, impact driver and Dremel.

My list would be very different if were FT. We are out for short to 5 month trips and I have a large shop at home where I do the bigger jobs. I have tuned my hand tools to those that are required for my rig and to cover most tasks. For example I carry one set of wheel bearings and all the tools to do the task on the road shoulder if ever needed. Some times I do a maintenance job at home using only the tools I carry on-board. If I come up short, it gets added.

I would recommend very different tool sets depending on the type and size of RV, the person's skill set and where they typically travel. For some people I'd recommend only taking a credit card with big limits.

A few guys with toy haulers have converted the "garage" into an extensive shop with most everything.

Small bottle, and a Tetris master! Hardest part for me was not tripping the breaker

How many of you carry power tools in your rig? What kind.
I have 20v 1/2in drill and screw gun.
1/2 drive impact gun for heavier work.
20v ratchet.
What about a 20v small skill saw and reciprocating saw? I think these could be a handy addition to the hand tools.
I carry what you are carrying, but I carry a reciprocating saw and a dremal.

I carry a Campbell Hausfeld 85amp wire welder, 110V. I used it to weld my rear camper frame hitch, just go slow and multi passes.

Maybe too many tools, but as far as power tools: All Dewalt {Hint: major difference between the XRP series and most of the stuff found in HD, Lowes, etc. Even in the same voltage, a whole different tool} 1/2" drill, 1/2" Impact, 3/8" impact, 1/4" Impact Driver, Recip Saw, floodlight, spotlight-> all running the 20v 5amph batteries. Also have both the 110v and 12v chargers. 1 lone Milwaukee: 3/8" drive ratchet-> fits in those area's where the 3/8" Impact will not.

Yes, I am in the tool business. When I outfitted the rig, I ended up getting carried away: pulled out some of the tools-too much weight. And of course, the tools that I pulled out will be the one that I will need.

We've just started our RV adventures. Mostly just weekend trips, with a week and a half trip finished last weekend.
I have a 12V cordless drill that I put a 3/4" socket on to run the stabilzers up and down.
However, 3-5 years from now, when we start full timing, I'll upgrade to a bigger one and have to figure out what's coming and what's being sold.

I have a miller 211 inverter driven welder. I wonder if that will run on an generator with a dirty sine wave.

Dewalt 20v impact (used most), 1/2" drill, right angle drill.
Vlair air compressor
1" to 3/4" torque multiplier for wheels - 1" extension, 1" socket set, multiplier extension pipe, 20 ton bottle jack to complete a tire change (just no tire )
Normal hand tools for most any job.

Multi-tool (for removing old caulk), Saw-Max, drill/driver, various meters, buffer, jig saw, various wrenches and sockets, 10 gal. compressor, angle grinder, air conditioning gauges and vacuum pump (used more frequently than I would like).

BTW, I use Harbor Freight (disposable) for tools that are unlikely to hurt me (like a buffer) and much higher quality for things like sockets.
