I just got a ssp50x protector .looking for recomentions how to lock it on to the pedestal in the campground.called progressive no help

I use a loop of chain with a long shackle padlock.

I use to use the heavy duty bike cable and lock. Now, I just wired it into the electric bay of the MH. Outta sight, outta (thief’s) mind.

For past 10 years ---7 yrs FT we have never locked it or really worried about it.

We just plugged it into the 50A receptacle on power pedestal (or 30A adapter) and then power cord which was connected to 50A twist receptacle on 5th wheel.

Still have both...PI portable and OEM power cord. And we stayed ALL over the USA during our travels

Besides....bolt cutter or quick spray of N2 and anything locked up is mine

I think more people lose them from leaving them than being stolen.

I just use a second cord and plug the surge protector in between the two cords.
