Propane connection

What type of connection is this on my RV? Is it do I can hook a hose to it an run something like a grill?

Hard to tell from your picture, but I believe that is the fill valve for putting propane in the tank. I suggest you reach out to a propane company and not do anything yourself.

Yes it looks like the fitting you would add a hose to and then connect your stove.
Actually connect stove first as once you thread your hose in you are on the high pressure side Of propane pressure.

Your fill valve is just at the bottom of your picture.

Turn off propane when connecting hoses and check for leaks with soapy water connection.

Use caution when checking previous owners connections.

Make sure the main valve is turned off when connecting barbecue.

Good luck and if you have any doubt consult a propane shop.

That fitting has the same thread as a 16 OZ propane bottle.

You can buy a hose to connect to that and then to a grill that uses the little tanks.

Its not a fill valve.

It is not the fill valve, that is just at the edge of the picture and is labeled. I just looked at a disposable bottle I have and I see that it is the same. Now I just need to find a hose.
Thanks for the tips on connecting to it!
