Propane Quick connect

I am trying to connect to my barbeque port to measure my propane pressure. I bought a full flow male plug #f27681, but it will not snap into my bbq port. Does anyone know the proper male fitting number to snap into the bbq port? Thanks in advance,

If you can't find the corresponding connection, just replace both pieces, much easier.

There are typically two sizes that I refer to as long and short. Any propena supplier should be able to help you.

Well they must have given me the long one. My manual just says use a full flow quick-connect. I think I will drive Rv to the parts store and see if I can get the right one. If not I will do like Dutch Star Don suggest and replace the part on the Rv.

Quick connects for propane, natural gas and air are usually of differing sizes to avoid connecting the wrong thing to the wrong gas.

Locate and purchase the proper fitting.

I bought the male part at the RV dealer. Got home and it didn't match the female with valve on the RV. Went to local Hardware and bought both matching parts and now ok. I found that you need to match the same name brand QD parts .

I did like "jearhart" and ordered both male and female as a set. And the male part fits the original one on m RV. I learned a lot and now I have a better understanding of why there are different fittings for different situations.
