My wife and I really enjoyed the movie. I've never seen anyone drive a motorhome quite like Robin Williams. He drove it like he was driving a sports car. I noticed in one scene, as he was quickly rounding a corner, the slide tilting out about a foot at the top. As he rounded the corner the slide closed once again.

I saw it last Friday and loved it! It is a bit silly in spots, but it was good clean fun (well, not always clean
There were so many times I could see what could happen and would say "Oh no!" And, of course, he did it!
There was a lady in the back of the theatre who laughed almost non-stop -- she must've been there/done that

Apparently I will be the last person to see RV. Still waiting for it to get to the dollar show here so we don't break $100 just to see it. Still a nice theatre though, with cup holders, booster seats, and everything!

No, we are actually just 5 minutes away. There are just 7 of us to buy tickets for. It is about $8/person. That is $56 just for the tickets. Then, we either eat dinner out, which is about $50 or we get refreshements, which at the show costs another $40. I can't find a theater with a cheap matinee here.
At the dollar show, it costs us $2/person to get in and they have meal deals with popcorn and drink for $3/person. That is $35 for the movie and snacks. With 5 kids, we are always looking for good deals! Problem is, if the movie is really popular, it takes longer to get to the dollar show.

We just spent an excellent night at the drive in Saturday night. The old drivein in Dillsburg, PA is still open and going strong. $7 for adults, $2 for kids gets you 2 feature films. We saw "Over the Hedge" and "RV". Both were good movies and a perfect way to spend a spring night with the family. Every one at the drive in was laughing.

Saw the movie with another RVing couple yesterday. Have to add me to the list of those that got a real kick out of the movie! It is one of the best movies (from a pure entertainment perspective) we have seen in a long time. I will not be renting the MH out after seeing this.

OK, I am fixin to say forget the dollar show and take all of us to the matinee and sneak in snacks for the littles. I can barely wait.
I wish I lived near Dillsburg. That drive in sounds wonderful. There was one near New Orleans when I was growing up. It closed when I was still young, became a go cart track, and now it is a car lot, walmart and compusa.

My brother and his wife drove 35 miles to the nearest theatre to see the movie. They said it was great but did complain about the cost of concessions. 3.25 (or 3.50) for a bottle of water! Medium soft drink (mostly ice) for $3 and popcorn - smallest size $3.
The closest theatre to me is 25 miles away and while I am anxious to see it, I might wait until it is released on DVD. No release date yet. There is a new double-screen drive-in just opened about 30 miles from my house so if they show it there, I may take my own refreshments and go. Admission price $10 carload. No more hiding in the trunk!

The DVD will be out August the 15th. That is a movie that I must buy and leave in the camper.

We finally saw it last Sunday. It was great. The theatre was packed. The audience all seemed to enjoy it. At one point when the mom and dad kissed, a little boy in front of us said, "ewwww" really loud. that had everybody laughing again.
We liked the Gornike's (sp?) as well. They are living our dream!
I have it on my netflix list as well and may buy it when it comes out.
