Are rallies a good place to see different types of rigs? Do dealers and manufacturers attend rallies? Thanks.

Depends on the rally. For a brand-sponsored rally, there are usually RVs on display but only from that one manufacturer. Lrge national and regional rallies like FMCA's and Good Sam regionals will generally have a wide selction of RVs available for view/sale and will also be well attended by accessory vendors.
RV Shows in major cities are probably your nest bet, though.

If your from Georgia, (being a braves fan) they have a lot of rallies in Perry Georgia. And the Fair grounds are right off I-75 all the time. Go to Good Sams and FMCA web sites to see their schedules. In fact, Good Sams has one in Sept 13 - 16. go to www.georgiagoodsam.com for more info s/Toby

We found the best places to see new rigs are RV shows. Originally being from Pittsburgh, we weren't too far from the big PA RV show in Harrisburg (now in Hershey) in the fall and we attended that show every year for several years. We also attended as many local RV shows as we could find. Many times we even scheduled a weekend trip to coincide with an RV show. If you are from Georgia, maybe you could get down to Tampa for their big show.
After we started to hone in on the type of RV we wanted (motor home vs. 5th wheel) and on several brands we were interested in, we would look up RV dealers of those brands in different areas we were traveling to and stop in to check out their inventory. Many dealers will list their inventory on-line so you know in advance if they have anything you are interested in.
Best wishes in your search. Looking and dreaming can be a lot of fun.
PS: Be sure to take your digital camera (if you have one) when you go out looking. Photos make it easier to remember what you saw and which RV had what option.

The best rally that in your area would be the SE FMCA Rally in Brooksville, FL in February.
Can't wait until then? There are any number of rallies including the FL Samboree in Orlando, FL this November. They typically have 3 to 4 dealerships that bring upward of 10 motorhomes each.
You can always sneak away to the Rally Park in Seffner, FL and go and visit the "Mecca" of all dealerships, Lazy Days any time you want.

bravesfan,
You don't mention what kinds of RVs you're interested in seeing. FYI, you won't see any 5th wheels or TTs at an FMCA rally - they're a "motorhome only" group.
