Fuel prices around me have dropped about 12 cents a gal in the last 30 days. I paid $2.19 for gas for my car and diesel is about 5 cents a gal more here.

Both gas and diesel have been doing nothing but going up here in MI.Gas went up again from $2.19 to $2.35 and diesel has done nothing but come down a little. NOMINAL diesel around here is $2.59-$2.35. Where we get gas/diesel is $2.35 gas, and $2.35 diesel. With all the tax increases in MI, I'm getting a little tired of living here...And I was born here!

Guess I should look on the bright side...it Could be worse somewhere else!

Maybe 2 months ago that article, when written, had 'good' information but here gas is $2.35-$2.45 and diesel just dropped as I was driving by to $2.39 at my usual stop. Diesel was $3.86 the day I brought my truck home in 2012.

We WILL eventually suffer 'sticker shock' but probably not this summer unless we send N. Korea back to the stone age from the dark age they currently live at.

Alright - we are not exactly flush but just to make sure everyone remembers 2014. That is the first solid year of RVing for us. When I planned our trips then, I costed gas at $3 on a good day and in LA felt lucky to see $3.50. These days we routinely fill up for right at $2/gal. The 4 years before that we traveled more than 300k miles in our large SUV (Alaska and back twice). Gas through Canada on a good day was $1.32/liter (Canadian $s).

So at $2.15/gal - good to go - we LOVE our RV!
