Recommending Nichols RV in Eustis, Florida

If you're in central Florida and need any kind of RV repairs or maintenance, I highly recommend Nichols RV and Truck Center in Eustis, Florida. Call them at: 352-589-4422.

I had been having a Workhorse front wheel bearing problem for 5 months and 900 miles. David Nichols provided encouragement and useful information over the phone before either of us knew I'd take my coach to him. I did take my coach to him. I haven't had any further problems.

Nichols is a family owned and operated business. They are polite, experienced, knowledgeable, and generally nice people. They are not cheap. They ARE good.

I used them for years and kept feeling that I was getting ripped off. I live 5 minutes away. They really messed me up on an installation of a tire extension that caused me to have a flat tire in the wilds of Northern, MI. We had already told them we would never use them again.Twice I went to pick up my coach and they drove it around saying it was cone with less than 30 pounds of air. I would recommend caution in using them. I have several friends who quit using them before us. I have spent a lot of money there inducing 2 sets of motor home tires. I use RV specialist in Fruitland Park and have had good service and a good price. I would use them only on a real emergency basis.

Lindsay - Thanks for the 'heads up' about Nichols. Maybe they don't (or didn't) have a good tire guy. The problem they fixed for me was a front wheel bearing seal. I had it replaced at two different places that were NOT Workhorse authorized service centers. At both other places the seal leaked. The first time I didn't notice so I also burned up the bearings. Nichols is a Workhorse authorized service center and apparently has just the right tools to properly replace that wheel bearing seal.

Thanks again for your note. The next time I'm in the area I'll check out the RV Specialist in Fruitland Park.

Well if you are a few miles south of there around Punta gorda Fl. look up Mr. Front end. Great service and they know what they are doing. Use them all the time.
