removing over the stove microwave

I am having problems removing a Sharp R 1831 convection microwave. It does not have the two pins/bolts which attach the microwave to the mounting plate which you usually find above the door hidden within the microwave cabinet. Instead, it appears to have sliding links which are located at the bottom of the anchor plate under the microwave. I have tried pulling and prying on these but it does not seem like I am disengaging the microwave from the anchor plate. Has anyone encountered a similar installation and knows the secrete to detaching the unit from the anchor plate?
I assume this style of installation requires the microwave to come straight out from the wall instead of rotating it on the support or shelf of the anchor plate.

thanks in advance

Is it something like the one in this manual?:

Sharp does not have your exact model on the web, this seemed to be the closest to what you described, though it still has the top screws accessed from the cabinet above.

BTW, I found this at this website:

Most of the time the over the range units are not installed in RVs the way they are installed in a stick house. The reason is that the cabinets above the stove or range does not allow for space or strength to be mounted the way the manufacturers have designed the microwaves or convection units. I have seen the RV manufacturers compensate in many different ways. Some will run screws from side cabinets into the microwaves. Some add screws up into cabinet stiles from the top grill areas as well. What I am saying is that even if you find the Sharps installation instructions, it does not mean it is installed as such.

RV Wizard, I agree, the manual is a starting point. Howerver, armed with the information of how it was designed to be installed, myfiona may be able to better figure out how it was actually installed.

Maybe some other Foretravel owners on this forum have had experience with this?
