Repaint vs vinyl wrap

I own a 2005 Winnebago Journal 39f that is in need of a new paint job. I was wondering if anyone has any experience in using vinyl instead of paint. I would appreciate any feedback about this. I was also wondering if anyone could recommend a company that does the vinyl. I live in New York State. Thanks in advance.

The vinyl will fade after 3-5 years where paint can last much longer.

Paint scratches can be buffed out or touched up, vinyl not so much.

I thought about it on a 5er front cap but decided it wasn't worth the investment. 2k to paint vs 800 for vinyl and paint is much more permanent.

Yep - exactly this. The vinyl won't last for very long. You can have them do some pretty amazing graphics for far less than paint, but if you want it to last as long as paint, you don't want vinyl. If you get damage, you can get paint repaired anywhere, but you may or may not be able to fix the vinyl without replacing all of it.

X2 on the paint lasting much longer.
Yours is a big DP and that is a LOT of surface area, with lots of joints for the wrap to come unglued.
I did a "carbon fiber" wrap on my old Jayco 33ss class "C" cap and it held up about 3 years. Then i could see the edges start to fray.
I would go with paint.............
