Replacement B&D coffee carafe
Our Black&Decker coffee carafe broke. I need a replacement. This is the older Black&Decker under cabinet model, no longer made. Does anybody know of a replacement carafe that will work? I've seen a couple on line that might work. I'd like to know before I buy. Ours is marked B981.

Using Google, many replacement B&D carafes come up. I don't think the model # you supplied is correct, it doesn't match any that show up. I'd look on the back or bottom of the coffee maker to find the actual model # of the unit, even if you have to pull it off the mount. If there's room, you could try using a phone camera to take a photo of the back. Black & Decker and Amazon both list replacement carafes, measure the space to be sure you get the correct size and style.

I second that motion. Thrift stores are full of coffee makers for just a couple of bucks.

Wish I had saved mine now, we removed the entire unit and use a Bunn countertop machine same as we have in the house. You might find a stainless carafe online, we carry a generic one as a spare.
