Replacement Furniture

We have a Winnebago View and would like to replace the sleeper sofa with theater seating with a center console. Space is 56"wide. Any suggestions?

That's a bit tight. The Internet will be your friend on this one. You may have to settle for a couple of nice recliners and forego the center console.

Take a tape measure to the stores and find sometging you like that will fit. Try Lambright, they make a bunch of different units and might even make a special unit. Won't be cheap though.

Will It Fit in the door

We wanted a new recliner/swivel rocker for our coach. We bought one but when it came time to get the old swivel rocker out it soon became apparent that it was put in before the windows were installed or it came in sections. I rolled it over and started taking it apart. I was able to get it out he "optional" drivers door after tilting the wheel all the way up, putting the drivers seat all the way back and running the kitchen slide out.

Then cam the new one. Long story short is make sure what you buy will fit in an opening. I partially destroyed the original chair and it would not have been easy to reassemble/repair that chair. Thank goodness the original owner ordered the drivers door option.

Have a look here too. I don't know if they have furniture or not but this is a good source for used parts.

Lambright is an rv furniture manufacturer. I am in the process of replacing my jack knife couch with a double reclining loveseat. Like you, I also have limited space. Lambright has a 54" and 58" in their Harrison and Elite lines. I haven't seen anything in a 56". You will probably have to forgo theater seating. Maybe two individual chairs would work.

Ignore "RV" furniture, it is no better than any other and much more expensive.

We went with two recliners and a fold up table.

we bought a electric double recliner I'm pretty sure they could make one that size.

We went to the Lambright factory on Friday. Ended up with a couple recliner chairs rather than the loveseat. Right now they are swamped and he didn't seem too willing to make anything other than their standard sizes. Maybe if they had a slow time they would be more willing to make something that is not standard.

I asked him if he worked directly with any of the rv manufacturers. Only two they supply directly are Tiffin and Newmar.

Riverat,
In the slide out, I replaced a dinette set with dual recliners having steel frames. I selected u-bolts having the nescessary width and length. I placed the furniture and marked the spots for drilling. After installation, cut off the excess bolt length to avoid seal damage. This system works, if you can access the underside of the floor.

RV Furniture Source

We bought our double-recliner from “RecPro” and are totally satisfied.
