Any brand unit should be about the same. I recently replaced an old 87 model backup camera complete with a cathode ray black and white monitor. The new screen has great resolution and takes up a fraction of the space. Same story with the tiny new camera. Gotta love technology...

It was a pretty easy swap. I ended up mounting the new monitor on my dash.

I replace my old obsolete Sony BU monitor and camera with a Voyager wireless system. To power the camera I re-purposed the Sony coax, I used the center wire for 12V+ and the outer braid for 12-, then made the proper connections under the dash where power and ground was easy to utilize.

How is it working for you? What length rig do you have?

The unit works well on our 40' MH.

I just replaced my Voyager camara with a newer one (voyager) about a month ago. Same screen size, but weighed about 1/4 as much. Looks and works great!

Interested in this also. For those that replaced a wired camera, were you able to use the existing wire from the camera to the monitor.

I intended to use a wired BU camera, however the obsolete Sony coax has proprietary features that prevented using a different brand. Thus the wireless Voyager.
