Retiring Roof Equipment

I've been thinking a lot about retiring some equipment on my roof that I've never really used in the past 3 years. The antique satellite dish, the TV antenna, and the broken Winegard connecT 2.0. Has anyone else removed these things?

removed some, added some etc. I just fill any remaining screw holes with self-leveling Dicor, and screw and seal a plate of some sort over any holes in the roof for cables or cranks, etc.

I removed the old satellite dish. I left the brackets in place because they were sealed with Dicor and would have been a pain to remove and reseal.

I've changed out a satellite dome for a satellite dish on a couple of occasions. I like to remove the screws and hardware. I inject silicone into the holes, smooth it off and then do Dicor over the hole.

I removed the old satellite dish and screws,
Cover with dicor tape and seal.
Got rid of about 25lbs of dead weight.
With WiFi it’s not needed. The batwing antenna is NEXT.

This is all very encouraging, nothing seems too labor intensive nor expensive. I blew all of our Motorhome upgrade funds this winter on an engine rebuild and air supply system replacement which wound up costing about double what I had anticipated so I don't have anything left for additional upgrades this year. I was looking at the roof thinking I need to get it scrubbed and inspected for resealing... I started wondering how crazy it would be to ditch the crap I'm never going to use or replace.

I did the same, with a lot of wire clamps and etc. I filled 111 holes with body filler, putty, and the primer and paint.

That is a lot of potential leaks eliminated.
