Roadmaster Tow Gear in 2022 GMC Canyon Denali

Hello

Has anyone installed in a 2022 GMC Canyon Denali the Invisibrake? I did and had to scratch my head and still not sure it's correct or i missed something. First the set up for towing procedure at the end has the Battery disconnect, When I use a knife switch on the negative post and throw it to off the truck still has power on, Radio stays on, lights windows work etc, but truck won't start. And since key has to stay in on position everything else is on. On last truck 2021 Canyon I installed the cutout switch inside as per all the instructions and it did not completely 'kill' the truck. Today was first day to actually head out on trip and I had to take the connection on the knife switch OFF the Negative post.
That 'killed' Truck and off we went but also killed the invisibrake with is supposed to be the only thing running off battery.

Any clue?
