The inevitable finally happened.
This past Friday, we had a puncture on the right rear outer tire. Our tire pressure monitor told us about it. Good thing too. We slowed down immediately and pulled over at the next exit about a minute after the alarm began. We checked the tire and could hear the air escaping. Another 2 minutes passed and the tire was flat. Without the TPMS, we'd have not known until something catastrophic happened.
Anyway, called Good Sam roadside service. We had a spare tire, but not on a rim, knowing it could be mounted on the roadside. The surprise came when GS charged us $110 to mount the tire!

The GS literature said we'd be responsible for mounting costs, but dang!
Seems just a tad excessive to us. Anyone have an idea if this is or isn't a reasonable amount?
