Roof Replacement in SO CAL

Hey there,

Just as the title says, needing a new roof and looking for suggestions. My new Toy Hauler had a tree fall on it puncturing in five spots. I know the obvious answer is where I bought it. Considering that My insurance already said the entire roof will need to be replaced, as well as some interior, do you consider your dealers completely capable of doing this? Where would you take it if it was yours? Looking for suggestions in the SO CAL area.

we had ours replaced by a local rv tech / service company when we were staying in hemet. i don't remember their name. but i would think that any independent repair company that has a garage facility can do the job and they will be less expensive than a dealer. i'm sure the dealers can do it also and since you seem to have insurance coverage so that you only pay the deductable i'd steer towards a facility that does rv renovations and body repairs.

I am a fan of San Diego RV Center in El Cajon. Very good work.

I would first try to return it to the manufacturer. If that’s not possible I would go to an RV body shop in your area. Your insurance company may be able to recommend one.

Temecula Valley RV did nice repairs on our pin box under warranty.

They do roofs as well. Very labor intensive work. You may be able to job it out to a local tech that comes to you. Most of these repairs are costed out at around $100/hr.

I would make the drive to Washington or Texas ( closest locations to you ) & get the RV Flex-Armor roof. I damaged my 5er roof last year & it's what I had done. Lifetime guaranty that's transferable. It takes 2 days to prep & spray
