Rubber step tread

Soneone May have previously offered advice on a good product to secure the rubber step tread on my entrance stairs into my Tiffin Phaeton Motorhome.
Rubber to plywood, your ideas no screws, just a reasonable adhesive that can be later removed without a Jack hammer.

Thank you

I wood use contact cement, the same thing cabinet makers use to glue down Formica. If you’ve never used it, read instructions.

Be sure to cut to fit first, then use the glue. Apply to both pieces and let dry till dry to the touch. Usually you get one chance to put it together because it adheres on contact.

When installing it, use wood strips to allow you to position it. Remove the strips on at a time and press is place.

Vinyl flooring adhesive is another option.

Loose rubber treads

Again, thank you for this information. While I have you, per chance did or have you ever purchased new rubber treads. Would you have a source for 2012 Tiffin Phaeton entrance step treads.

Take good care
Thanks

It appears thru a quick Google search they are available thru Integrety RV and others. I haven’t bought any myself, so I haven’t personal experience.
