Funny how, since I quit the fast lane, retired and bought a motorhome, there are so many FEWER rude people out there on the road.

Now, driving in the right lane at 55-60, there are alot fewer folks not realizing how monumental the meeting is that I'm going to. Great not being so (self)important and rushed nowadays.

My belated apologies to all you out there I might have tailgated or flashed before...

For awhile, I used to think that inconsiderate people were just preoccupied.

Then for awhile I thought it was because they were just self absorbed.

Then after a longer while, I thought they were just selfish.

Finally I learned the real reason, THEIR JUST PLAIN STUPID!

It's kind of funny too, all the other possible answers could be improved upon, Stupid lasts forever!

Can't agree w/ you on that assesment, Jim.

THEY'RE not all stupid, just a nice assortment of types.

That's what makes life fun.

I find most RVers are more considerate than most. If you want inconsiderate go to the Villages in Lady Lake , Fla. Driving around you really have to be on your toes. They give a signal and turn into your lane. We went down to Sanford, Fla were we got our new RV and in three out of four trips down there there was a wreck. At the campground we would see ambulances and fire trucks very often. We would wait and go out after 8 PM as the traffic was gone then.

If you want to go to Disneyworld and can't afford the price of admission, just try to drive in Florida on Social Security Check Days, it's like an E-Ticket to the rides at Disneyworld.

PS: Take a spare pair of underwear!

Relax, you are the only one getting upset, that guy sure wasn't. Accept is for what it was, one person displaying their view of the world-revolving around them. I doubt the guy was stupid, that definition requires an IQ of 35 or less according to intelligence standards.
One time I was upset about something- now long forgotten. My friend told to fetch a pail of water, I did. He told me to put my hand into the water and shake it around, I did. He then said, those waves and splashes represent you in the world today. Now, remove you hand, I did. When the water surface smoothed he said, "now, that represents you after you leave this world". Moral- when we are gone the world will continue as if we were never here. A lesson in self-importance. Why let things bother us, just enjoy life to it's fullest.

did you walk over to the gentleman and ask him if he could move so he was not blocking the road?
if he had then refused it would have been different,
he probably felt he was just enjoying the "i get to wash my truck" part of his week

I think Ray is closest to the mark.

The guy's family tree was probably a stick.

Whether through poor breeding, inbreeding, outbreeding or whatever poor examples have been set for these poor souls, there are three simple truths:

They don't care about anything or anyone but themselves.
They are too dumb to know that they are too dumb to know that they should not spawn.
They do not subscribe to this, or similar forums and will never learn anything as a result.

We all screw-up from time to time. The caring will learn. The ignorant never will.

Don't remember who said it, but "you can't fix stupid".

Steve

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
