run generator??

i have two memberships - good sam and koa - i try not to travel all day, but sometimes i get caught driving too long not knowing whats up ahead. koa is usually better than most and with good sam parks you get what's there. twice i've spent overnight out of parks - once in walmart lot and i did run generator and once a walgreen lot and ran the generator there. it certainly wasn't to save 30-40 dollars, usually the park office is closed early and it's just more convenient to stop, get up early and move on for me. for me and my family now, we try not to travel more than 6-7 hours per day. it makes for a more restful trip.

Have we used it at night yes for our comfort. Now that being said if you overnight at a Walmart, Flying J or other large parking area your generator will not make any more noise
then the cars and trucks coming and going all night long and will make your sleep a lot easier with out all the noise. Just watch where your pipe is pointed.

As needed, if not, what sense does it make to have one?
