We had the Cabela's stainless propane grill which is similar to other branded units. It was OK but you had to watch it closely as it would burn quickly. The grate had holes in certain places which caused hot spots.

This year I bought the Weber Q2000 after a lot of research. We have a Weber at the house and the Q was fantastic from day one. No burning, cooks very evenly and easy to clean. I wish I would have saved myself the money and bought it first. Any of the Q's should work great as they are similar in design just different sized grates. I never use the small propane canisters except in an emergency. Buy the hose to connect the grill to a 20 or 30 lb propane tank.

Have the small Weber but have modified it bc it was not the best... Now have a new regulator and can hook it into a 20lb tank....

I've had a half dozen different grills for my campers and motorhomes over the years. I got a Weber Q2200 for the Itasca last year. Absolutely love it for many reasons. Bought the Q1200 for the adventurer this year. I use the hose and connect directly to the RV propane tank. 1# bottles work good too.

The Q1200 will cook for 4 adults no problem. For 6 or more people the Q2200 is best.

I use a Traeger at home. Love it but we just don't need the hassle and extra supplies that go along with a pellet grill while in the RV.

The Q1200 is about 25lbs if I remember right. Very light for sure. The Q2200 is about 43 lbs if I remember correctly.

The 1200 and 2200 are basically identical to their cousins the 1000 and 2000 except the 1200/2200 have a multispark electronic ignition and a temperature gauge built in.

For the ignitor it's no pushing the button and getting one click for every push. You push the button and it rapid fire clicks until you let up. Works great.

Hi Guys,
If you want that charcoal flavor try a Rec Tec Mini. This is a wood pellet grill.
I weighs in at about 75lbs. But makes the best food you have ever tasted.

So how do you load a 75lb grill into and out of the basement without a drawer slide? And if your basements don't come out with the room slide it must be that much harder.

We roll with the Weber Q1000 also. Retrofitted to connect to the exterior propane hook-up. Light weight, works like a champ and lasts forever.

Blackstone Tailgater. Folds up for storage, half flat top griddle, half grill. Grill box is removable so you can also use the burner for pots , etc. Pizza oven is also available as an accessory.
