Do you know how to tell if a salesman is lying?
His/Her mouth is open, and lies come out.
Sales and Service are different parts of a dealership who are never on the same page. I suggest that you talk with the Service Manager. Ask some specific questions, like what is needed to get the oil changed, a new belt on the engine, how long to get a malfunctioning heater checked, etc.
The place I bought my second TT from had a "You bought it here, go to the head of the line for service."
Most folks bringing a TT or 5er for an annual bearing lube took from 3 to 10 days - WORK DAYS - to get to the point where a service person actually looked at the rig to see if that was all that needed to be urgently done.
An hour or less procedure which always was billed at 2 man hours - half diagnostic, half actual work.
I could call two days in advance, and bring in my TT at 10, and be on the road before 11.
Didn't really have a great feel for the salesman, but service tended to be great. Unfortunately, never found anyplace that good since.
Once at a Camping World just browsing, I noticed they were adding a new building of maintenance bays. The service desk told me proudly that they would have 250 bays when the construction was finished. I asked how many service techs they had. The answer was less than 50.
Which meant a lot of RVs, mostly motorhomes, were sitting for days with no one working on them.
==========
Now, your buying the location being close, that's a big plus if you are not able or comfortable doing many small tasks. But it will cost.
Extended warranties like RV Care.
Most of the time, you will never get in service what you pay for the premiums. Which is actually what you want. Warranty work means your RV is sitting in a shop waiting on parts and paperwork.
No matter if you buy it or not - you really want the RV out of the shop and ready to use.
(The salesman and dealership commission on things like RV Care is huge - as much as 50% of the total cost that goes probably half into the salesman's pocket, above the commission on the actual sale of the RV.)
