Rv carport for storage in driveway

I think there have been a few threads on this but only a few and none with more than one example product.

Those who live in winter climates who choose to use their driveways for storing their RV...I have 2 massive driveways...which products are you using and are there booths for these set up at RV shows for example?

I'll be bringing my new one home soon and it's winter crazy here is Canada!
I wanna shelter her right away with a 40 foot RV port

I'd suggest looking for local supplier.

When I was looking at building a garage. I looked at all options and settled on a metal 40X50X16' metal building. I customized it to my needs with doors and windows where I needed them. They could have done a turn key job but I opted to do all the prep work and have the concrete pad poured. They came in and erected the building.

Do a search for builders in your area. I'd also suggest a full enclosure.

If you’re looking for suppliers, you’ll have to go here to find local companies.
You’re in Toronto, so no excuse not to attend.

Agree with finding a local supplier. Go larger than you think you will need, you may upgrade later. Also go wider for sure. I have a 14' x 41' cover and wish I had gotten a 45 x 18'. My rv was only 31 feet with no slides when I got the cover. Now it is 40' with 4 slides. I can't open my slides under the carport, which I would like to be able to do at times. Good luck!

Loved the RV port we had built by TNT.https://www.irv2.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=1148

I agree to go longer (& wider) than you think you want. You want room to have your slides out, be able to maneuver around them & still be under the port.

Don't know if this applies where you're at, but make sure zoning laws will allow an RV port. We really wanted one, but zoning here won't allow it. The zoning law changed about 6 months prior to us buying our Tiffin. We would have to apply for a variance at both the zoning and building departments, with little chance of success. We were told we could unofficially put up the RV port, but it would have to be removed if anyone complained. The complainer didn't even have to live in the neighborhood. Too expensive for us to take the chance.

We were looking at Versatube RV ports.

I got ours from a local contractor. All steel bolted down. If you get any snow at all the "vertical" gable style is definitely better. About 12k back when I got mine. Takes one day for installation of 24w 45D structure.
