RV Furniture
I want to replace the queen bed sofa for a theater seats or reclining loveseat/sofa . I am reluctant to purchase one without having benefit of sitting in it to check for comfort/ quality. What brand/model do you have and how do you enjoy it? Durability? Thanks for your insight.

Why not go to some furniture stores and try some out? You don't need special RV furniture - just something that fits in a style you like.

I did actually. Didn't find anything in this community that I found comfortable and would fit thru the door.

As Gary says keep checking regular furniture store's. We found everything we needed, all of which broke down and fit through door of coach.

WE went to LaZboy and found two recliners, I'm 6'4" 225lbs, the better half is 5' 105lbs that fit us perfectly. The backs come off for easy install.

RecPro.com is a popular place to get RV furniture, and we have a 12' slide with delaminating leather loveseat/recliners. To fill the space would cost $2K+.
I have a Lazy Boy leather recliner, and they just don't make high quality furniture. But again, we don't live full time in our camper and it'd last long enough. And with the backs that come off the base, it'll go through the door of a RV.

Another RecPro here.
We replaced a jack knife sofa with theater seats and center console from them.
Agree about being hesitant when not able to test out.
We got the Charles and they are very comfortable. Recline nicely, easy to get in as the backs just slip on a couple tabs.
I think all in with free shipping was around $900 for left, right, and center console.
They have a bunch of sizes etc.

Google Best furniture. I have two recliners from them. Genuine leather!
$2100.00 delivered. The backs of the recliners are removable so they fit through the door. They are four years old and still looks and feels like new.

We ordered the "upgrade" seating for our 5er and found it to be uncomfortable for us after about 30 minutes. We ended up with a pair of recliners from Best manufacturing. Very reasonable prices, good comfort and still holding up well after 3 years. Backs come off to move. We've since bought several more of their pieces for our sticks and bricks. And they are USA made!

You are so right.
My 07 Cedar Creek had lazyboy recliners and they were genuine leather as well.
You would think this would be the norm as it's less expensive than "RV furniture"

We replaced our sleeper with theatre seating from Brad and Hall. The pieces were manufactured by Lambright. We did it thru Brad and Hall because we wanted the same ultra leather as our captain chairs. We have no idea when we might sell or trade in so we wanted the fabrics to be the same so there wasn’t any devaluation due to it being a different fabric. We absolutely love the pieces which are well made. They came in 5 pieces.
