RV Garage

Here in Az there are a lot of homes with RV garages. Looking at some it appears the garage is on the wrong side if you want to open the slide. if the garage is on the Southside or if the garage is on the Westside the slide will not open.
I think ;o)

Slide can be on either or both sides so I am not following the comment.

In a perfect world - I would want 24” clear around all sides of the RV. 2’ is nice but you don’t have to have 2’…but you need to measure and know what you need if the slides come out and if you plan to put the steps down.
My wiggly sketch below does not care which side the house is on or which way is south. The tongue of the trailer points to the street - unless you are getting a pull thru garage.

Still not following. My slide is on the driver's side. But either way, what difference does it make as long as the garage is wide enough?

That single garage door looks like a 10x8. The RV door looks to be 14x14 with maybe 12” to 16” on either side once you get inside the garage. You should be able to open the slide on your unit inside that garage no problem. The floor plan for the unit in your sig only shows a single slide…so I’m guessing your unit is a bit over 12’ wide with the slide out and the steps down. In fact you could pull the unit out of the garage with the slide open. You need to buy that house quick before rates go up again.

Correct! If the slide is to the open part (single garage door) of the garage. I think the picture I showed the single garage is on the RV door side

I have two slides on the drivers side. The portion of the garage I park my coach is 16' wide and with the slides out I have plenty of room.

I was limited on space as far as how big I could build my garage,, ended up building 40'X50' garage, and I wanted enough room for an enclosed work shop so I had to compromise. In an ideal world I would have built a 50'X60' (or bigger).
